By decision of the jury headed by the chairman Galina Leontieva award for “Best Feature Documentary” at the XXV All-Russian Shukshin Film Festival was awarded to the film by Anna Barsukova “Fine Line”. The winners were awarded 22 July 2023 of the year, on Mount Picket in the village of Srostki.

First, after a long break, along with feature films, a documentary film competition was organized at the Shukshin festival. The organizers of the event were: Ministry of Culture of the Altai Territory, ANO "HOUSE OF KINO", KAU "House of Folk Art" and the Altai Regional Branch of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation.
The opening of the documentary film competition program took place 18 July in Barnaul in the cinema “Premiere”. Despite the weekday, locals were happy to come to the screening of the film “Fine Line”.
Impressed by what they see on screen, the audience actively shared their emotions and asked a lot of questions to the author of the film. After discussion, the visitors of the event sincerely wished the village Sinegorye speedy recovery and prosperity in the future.
In the evening of the same day, a ceremony was held Opening of the XXV All-Russian Shukshin Film Festival. Guests and participants were greeted by residents of the region, Governor and Minister of Culture of the Altai Territory.
20 July delegation, consisting of organizers and participants of the documentary film program, visited the city of Kamen-on-Obi. Hosted by "Cultural Information Center" (MBUK). The guests of the Stone were taken on a boat on the Ob River, showed the architectural and historical sights of the city - the birthplace of the outstanding film director Ivan Pyryev. Guides of the Kamensk Museum of Local Lore, located in the house of merchants Vinokurovs, told documentary filmmakers the history of the city, exhibited rare museum exhibits, made it possible to listen to the melodies of a unique symphonic.

At the cinema "Star" competition films were screened. Kamenets watched professional documentaries with great interest and attention. film reel “Fine Line” made the audience very excited. The audience sincerely sympathized with the wards of the House of Invalids, featured in the film, lamented the desolation of the village Sinegorye, rejoiced at the plane from the final scene of the film and expressed hope for an improvement in the situation. “Documentary cinema is the same Shukshin morality, in which there is truth. By filling the hall today you supported us, documentarians” - noted director of the Altai ANO "DOM KINO" Vera Urazova.
Very warm, communication between Kamenets and cinematographers outside the cinema continued with great interest. Spectators took autographs from the creators and expressed their readiness to visit the events again next year, carried out within the framework of the project “Shukshin days in Altai”.

Besides, the contestants got acquainted with young filmmakers from Kamensk from a local studio “KINOshka”, wished them professional growth and good films.
Another film screening 20 July in Central City Library of Rubtsovsk. Visitors to the event noted the high level of organization of screenings and appreciated the selection of competitive documentaries.

Recall, What documentary film competition was supported by a grant from the Governor of the Altai Territory. According to the organizers, planned in the near future “Echoes of the festival”, under which documentaries will be shown in public cinemas in many districts and cities of the region. In total, it is planned to cover about 16 settlements. Priority screenings of the winning films will be accompanied by discussions and meetings with representatives of the film industry. Movie “Fine Line” additionally it is planned to include in events of this format, as film lectures for high school students. This movie was created with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Magadan Region as part of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises" social entrepreneurship. Conducting film lessons based on a socially significant film “Between Despair and Reliability” made possible thanks to the cooperation of the two regions.
